We will soon be settling down into Winston-Salem. We have a furnished
apartment rented there for a short time while we look for a house to buy;
once we find a house we like, and close the purchase, we wwill have our belongings
shipped out from their storage locker in California.
Taylor the Trailer will still be with us -- we plan to use it for weekend
trips now and then and perhaps longer excursions when our schedules allow
for vacations.
We are both looking forward to settling down into a less mobile lifestyle -- It has been great
fun being full-time RVers for the last five months. But, we both are feeling
like we are missing owning a home, having a garden, having space to spread
out, having our belongings back with us. We find ourselves doing yardwork
and other maintenance chores at Jacque's parents' house since we don't have
a house of our own to work on.
But, we both agree -- this was an opportunity not to be missed, and an experience we will keep with us forever.
